Who stands behind the lists
We are a small editorial team working in Hungarian, specialised in iGaming content. We have followed the games and the studios for years, so we know what matters in the region and what is just noise.
We are not the operator, and that is important to make clear. Dukat.bet is the subject; our role is to organise and inform. When it comes to the exact terms, we always point to the official site, because the information there is up to date.
Our voice is editorial, not ad copy. If something is good, we say why; if a title has a weakness, we do not hide it either.
We write in Hungarian and tailored to the region because international lists rarely take account of what plays well here. A Book of Ra-style classic speaks differently to a Hungarian player than the trending titles of a distant market. It is that local flavour we try to capture.
How we build a ranking
The order always follows from named criteria, not from a machine-calculated value. We spell out these criteria in text, so anyone can check our logic.
Our main factors:
- Regional popularity — what Hungarian and Slovak players actually search for.
- Provider reputation — how mature and reliable the studio is.
- Mechanics and game type — reels, paylines, free spins, bonus buy as characteristics.
- Variety of themes — how fresh an experience the title offers.
- Mobile availability — whether it works well on a small screen.
- Richness of features — whether it brings something extra to the usual.
We describe this system in detail on the methodology page, and the reading the rankings guide gives you a footing for reading the lists correctly.
What we deliberately do not do
We do not invent numbers. There is no 9.4/10 here, no star average, and no RTP column in the tables. These look precise but actually mislead, because they can differ from version to version.
The exact RTP, volatility and maximum win live on the game's official info page. We talk about character; the specific parameter we leave at the source.
We do not manufacture fake awards, player counts or payout speeds either. If we cannot honestly back a claim, we would rather not write it down. It is a slower path, but a believable one in return.
A ranking here is always an editorial selection, verify the exact data on the official site.
Our sources and a responsible voice
We base our observations on the studios' public portfolios, the available descriptions of the games, and regional search habits. Wherever we can, we also check from our own experience, for example whether a title really runs smoothly on mobile. For benchmarks we take the market's well-known players as a reference point, but we do not copy or invent their data. We characterise the providers in general terms: BGaming is known for slots and crash titles, Novomatic for classic slots, Wazdan for flexible settings as a concept. A fuller comparison of the studios lives on the providers page.
Every one of our pages carries an important message. Gambling is entertainment for those aged 18 and over, not a way to earn money; we write about setting limits and finding help on the responsible gaming page.
We welcome comments and correction requests on the contact page, and we carry through legitimate fixes quickly.
